Whether you’re running from a Zombie horde, walking through the woods, battling against mother nature, or tending to wounds, the Skinth Solutions - TrailBlazer is guaranteed to come in handy… as long as you pack the things you need.
Made of military tested 1000D PU coated CORDURA® nylon the basic TrailBlazer is extremely durable, weighs just 2.5 oz, and measures about 5″ x 5″ x 3″.
The TrailBlazer is just one of Skinth Solutions many designs, and it isn’t just nice to look at, it’s also incredibly useful. Featuring 7 pockets, a double-stitched belt-loop, and tons of optional upgrades (see: skinth options), it’s hard not to think of a million uses for this little pouch.
Even with it’s petite size, we were able to fit a Leatherman Wave, Emergency whistle (with compass, signal mirror, and fishing kit), 12ft of para-cord, 25 feet of electrical tape, and fire-kit (10 cotton-balls, Fire-steel / striker, box of 20 matches, and petroleum-jelly) within, and still have room left over for more. And offering enough room for bandages, medications, gloves, medical tape, tweezers, etc, the TrailBlazer, or a similar Skinth, would be perfect for a medical-kit on the go. In fact, we’re thinking about getting a second one customized for that very purpose.

Zombease would like to thank Skinth Solutions for sending us the TrailBlazer for review, and for creating, what has become, one of our favorite pieces of gear.

I consider myself a resourceful guy, I was just in the smokies and a half day of rain soaked us to teh bone, even with alchol pads, and pillow stuffing we could not get a fire going. We were not allowd to pull down branched only deadfall was permitted. …..but that sucked….I am packing a flare next time.
Not a bad idea at all
Product would be even better if it had a molle straps instead of a belt loop for quick attach and release when needed.
While the Trailblazer I reviewed is lacking molle straps, they are actually available as an add on to most Skinths.
What do you think about the Halligan firefighter Tool? I was thinking with a few modifications it would probably be the most valuable tool / weapon you can carry.
Without having ever used one myself, it’s hard for me to say for sure. But I imagine that it’s pretty amazing. I do always worry about spiky things sticking in the skull though.
If you check out our facebook page you can get a peek at a tool/weapon we are going to review soon: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=474831639207766&set=a.441841862506744.103080.434127073278223&type=1&theater
I saw that and it looks cool…With a Halligan you can bust open deadbolted doors like the (Poo Poo) police, you can gut between the studs in a wall rather quick to move from room to room not using the doors, and you can sink the pick end in a skull. Thing is it’s kinda heavy but you need a solid tool that wont breakdown when you need it most. I have used this tool in the Military and loved it.
I woudl love to see your tool go to work on a few fruits and veggies…Watermelon of course, Pumpkin.
Fruits and veggies is exactly what we have in mind. We are also trying to track down a door to smash open, but no luck with that so far.
